In his acceptance speech, Rotarian President, RP Prosper Edem Amevordzi thanked the past presidents for their hard work, the past Assistant Governors for their contributions and guidance to make the club come this far. He deemed it as a privilege to be called to head the club and indicated that he had stepped into “huge high heels” but believed that the team as always will rise up to the task ahead and called on the support of all members to achieve the set plans for the year.

RP Edem added that members “should not pray for tasks equal to their powers but rather for powers equal to their task. For through that we learn and become better people”.

He ended that he believed that together we can transform opportunities to success stories and be the inspiration to our community and the world at large as implied in our theme for the year.
